Biggest Loser's new season just started and I've been exercising with one of the contestants!
My neighbor & friend Burgandy Keel is on this season's Biggest Loser and I've been getting my body out every morning at 5:30 am to walk with Burgandy and a bunch of other dedicated exercisers! The Biggest Loser crew came to film Burgandy's story about "where she is now that she's left the Biggest Loser ranch" and they interviewed me! I'll will be on air in about 4 weeks! The experience has been amazing and today was day 13 of walking and I can feel my clothes getting loose! My sweet daughter Chelsea and my son Zachary have joined me each morning and we are all on the path to being healthy! I easily have over 100 lbs to lose....a daunting thought....but I'm taking it one day at a time....I very rarely show my pictures on my blog because I feel too fat....but I'm no longer hiding it....it is what it is and I feel good that I'm finally doing something about it!
Please watch the show every Tuesday at 7:00 pm and take your first step to becoming healthy!
Just do it!
Me, my daughter Chelsea and my son Zachary, my trusted companions each and every morning....and believe me, it's no small feat getting a 12 year old up at that time of day!
Here is a bunch of us getting direction from the production guy Chris....he was a lot of fun to work with and a great supporter of Burgandy! A bunch of people turned out for the shoot....we had to run, walk, up a hill, down a hill over and over while the production crew filmed us over and over....then came the interview....I was asked how Burgandy has "paid it forward" which is this season's theme....Burgandy has motivated tons of people to just start...quit putting it off....take care of your families but leave time for yourself too...make sure your body is being nourished & exercised....I'm afraid I was very nervous during my interview and didn't say everything I'd like to have said....but know this...she is one tough cookie...when she says run, we run!
This is me, my daughter Chelsea and her roommates, Nancy & Amy...plus my little girls were there as supporters...L - R, Mackenzie & Zoe (and Zoe's puppy Chloe)
