Girls Night Out

So I hung out with two of my favorite chicks the other night...my husband was gone and we were in the mood to play! So off we went to see Monsters vs. Aliens at the dollar theatre, to Deseret Industries to search for treasures, to Thanksgiving Point, (which I call Inspiration Point) and then off to Home Depot for paint & supplies! We are going to re-do my daughter's room/guest room upstairs....the lovely 3 year old artist, (see picture above) did a number on the walls with color crayons when she was 2! (sigh) This darling room at Thanksgiving Point gave me great ideas to begin with, (isn't that dresser just so sweet!) But here's the tricky part...I'm on a budget! There is no way I can spend $2,000 for the adorable hutch, or $900 for the so cute bedding....or $195 for the delicious chandelier...and even if I had the money...I wouldn't spend that much....ok, so maybe I would! Anyways....I'm going to use self control and attempt this room on a budget! Wish me luck & I'll keep you posted...! Sheesh! So many projects, so little time!

  4. Douglas didn't say anything, I keep clicking on the wrong thing and it prints as if from my husband, who couldn't care less. Anyway, I wanted to say, GO FOR IT! Do cute things with that bedroom on a budget. Most people have to do it that way. I sure love and miss Thanksgiving Point. Mackenzie is growing up too fast!
