My 9 year old slipped me this note the other day....I say the word "crap" a lot, it's one of my favorite words. I guess it's a lot better than some of the other words out there but when my sweet Mackenzie wants to use the word, I think it's time to replace it for another, less crude word....I'll try to stop, really I will....any ideas of what to replace it with? What's your favorite word? Or maybe I shouldn't ask? Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I try to replace the words stinks = suck, silly = stupid, goodness = gosh. Crap is so right on though. I say it a lot as well. My kids haven't gotten into it yet, thankfully. I also say a lot of nonsense words like shtugen bugen, par tar, and binkin donkin. I see from those words that the key is to make it rhyme and make it fun.
